Each of the these volumes stands alone. You don’t need to read volume 1 for instance in order to understand volume 2.
Each volume has a hard cover resembling a publication from the nineteenth century but with a modern day dust jacket, and is approximately 150 pages in length, and each adaptation is approximately 1000 words.
These are adaptations because we have replaced obscure words with today’s equivalent, we have simplified the sentence construction where necessary, we have ensured that the text flows in sequential order without too many diversions into other subjects, and we have condensed the whole. About 70% of the orginal text is left intact.
